Oh I am loving her blog!
The day I actually came across her blog was a day, I was feeling a little low, I guess finding it hard to just get the motivation and inspiration for the day and pehaps I didn't have the love for motherhood as I should have. I was feeling like a prisoner stuck inside my four walls, I felt restricted and just didn't feel like I could be a good mother and wife.
So she wrote about a dare.. wearing a scarf for 7 days straight all different ways!
Thats all it took was a little 'something' for me! I jumped in with two feet and put my wings on! Thats it, I did it! I took her up! I totally felt good within myself :)
Now isn't that what matters friends?

love this post Flis .... those photos of you are fabulous .... I used to wear a scarf in my hair .. way back in the 60's and 70's . it was very fashionable then and it seems to be coming back ... the cycle of life.. hugz x
ReplyDeleteI love scarves as well - but most of mine a big thick knitted winter ones!! I might just have to give this a go - am interested to see the different ways you are going to wear your scarf!! And I def think you should take inspiration from this and get creative....and of course share with all of us!! hee hee
ReplyDeleteThe scarf looks great Fliss, don't think scarves look so good on me though. The colours in No 3 would look fabulous in a layout, I am starting to learn to look at everything with new eyes, the places we can find inspiration from.
