Onward, upward, forward. Motherhood and life can be challenging but you know what.
You have to pick myself up off the ground!
Yesterday meant there is growth for me today!
So I am going to be thankful for the growth.
This week I have gone with a bit of ease. Simply because some of these things are already made in the freezer. Remember last week about the freezer door being open.
All the pre-made meals will be used up this week, so back to more effort next week.
I think I will enjoy the 'ease' of meals instead!
Monday: Vegetable Lasange
mixed toss salad
Tuesday: Rissoles
fried rice
stir fry vegies
Wednesday: Beef and black bean stir fry
Singapore Noodles
Thursday: Spice baked sausages
mash potato and pumpkin
corn cobs
Friday: Chicken and bacon pizza
using up left over roast chicken
Custard tart for dessert
Saturday: fresh fish
rice
homemade bread
Sunday: Pickled pork
mash potato
baked sweet potota
mixed steam vegies
Right oh, I think I might find myself in my studio a wee bit today, I want to document my little experience.
Art is my best therapy :)

ReplyDeletehi again from a wet nasty blowy unsunshine coast!! yep some days we are the pidgeon, some days we are the statue!! so glad you are great today.... and yes motherhood is one of the hardest jobs, it is a long time investment into our familys lives..... your menu sounds yummy.. and having a plan can ease the stress of life.. and go create.. i look forward to seeing what you throw at the paper!!!xx

ReplyDeletedidn't get to read your post yesterday, but I'm glad you are feeling better today. Just remember that no matter what happens with the kids and the house as long as they are fed, happy and content all is good. Nothing else really matters. Make sure you take some time each day for yourself, don't stress about housework etc it will all be there tomorrow.

And yes..life and motherhood are challenging. It takes guts to admit that , but its the truth. Its not easy..and life is not fair. I know that all too well..Take care and be well.

I had to take X to get his 6 months needles today....poor little thing, and he is having a bit of a rough time at the moment!! :( Hope he wakes up a bit happier! And YUM - I want to come and eat dinner at your place!! I made chicken meatball spaghetti and cupcakes tonight!! YUM!
