Friday inspiration

Its rainy. This type of weather makes we want to snuggle with my boys, catch on computer work,  play a few board games, bit sewing and read some more of Blinky Bills adventure. Boys favorite story at the moment.  But of course I have to spend a bit of time in my studio.
I love creating!

My first challenge as just been revealed at Frosted Designs.
Chevrons!

First up, I had a play in my art journal and loved the idea of just trying to come up with different chevrons patterns and papers.

Then one thing lead to another.




I ended up going through my thousands of 6 x 6 paper pads and pulled out all the chevron pattern papers. Then I decided how fun it would be use only Chevron papers.
It worked!
I even finally had ago at sun rays. It won't be my last I dont think.

While you hear here is a Prima share using some of the 6 x 6 stencils and Engraver papers.
Oh I love this range, full of neutrals which leaves me to add any colours I wish!
I love Prima :)

What's planned this weekend? Looks like its to be wet wet wet, so lots more board games and reading to be done!

  4. These two layouts are amazing.. the first one with all the chevron papers looks fabulous.. and the second one with all the layers and chevrons is so gorgeous too.. I hope we get to see a bit of sunshine over the weekend, we have had so much rain!!

  5. Wow Felicity, you rocked the checron challenge, beautiful inspiring works! You are the queen on layering too, just love your work! Your description being ....white paper covered in the colors of the rainbow with lots of fibers....just made me smile!   8. Holy Cow... these projects are fabulous!! I would seriously love to come sit in the corner of your studio and watch you work to learn all your tricks!! All of these projects have so much texture along with the perfect combination of colors!! Love them all!
