I am always fascinated with Shimmerz. Not just there sparkle and versatility, but how good a little shimmerz can make a project.

If you follow my personal blog or my instgram feed, you will see that  I am completing the #the100dayproject.

Products used: Spritz Ruby / Coloringz Oh say can U sea and no yoking

Heres a few project life cards and a spread with shimmerz.

Dont you think that touch of shimmerz looks pretty?

You dont have to try and do big and wonderful things with Shimmerz. You know what, pop over to the Shimmerz You Tube channel, and try a few those techniques from the designers.
Then the cardstock that you experimented on, chop it up and use it for your project life cards.

Easy peasy!

PROJECT LIFE: #the100dayproject EDITION 3

Saturdays are for sleeping in.
Because your bed is toasty warm.
No alarm clock. The roster crowing at dawn doesn't count!
Brunch is totally acceptable.
Pancakes on a saturday is tick of approval.
This day is for recharging and kicking back giggling with my kiddos.
The day is blogging and being creativity.

Make sure your following me on Instagram.  Link on the side bar.

Happy weekend.

Week in the life - Friday

 Oh Friday, fri-yay, fridaaaaaay.

The struggle is real.
The bed is comfortable.
Smell of coffee.
Big breath.
Let's do this.

Take boys to school today. They have a fun Friday for under 8's.
2 hours of non stop fun.

Pick up much need caffeine hit and back to school to find lions, monkeys, snakes, giraffes and a zebra.
Jungle safari at ESS

Home with a sleeping daughter.
The struggle is still real.
20 min power nap on the couch.

Makes a project life card.
I am committed.
31 down
69 to go

Dinner preparation under construction.
Note: said coffee on the bench.
Anyone else count the hours till bedtime?
It can be discouraging.
It can be motivating.

Helping with the irragation.
Nothing but space.
Cows over the fence.
Airplanes in the distance.
Watching the sky do its magic at dusk.
Did I say magnificent?

Week has been exhausting.
Let's unwind with a game before bed!
Busy weekend coming up.

Goodnight xo

Week in the life - Thursday

I had a few grey matter problems today, with taking photos!
Between my photos and journaling you will see how my day pan out.
Another day to remember!
Advent full!

I started my morning in quietness, watching the sun rise again.
But my camera got forgotten,
It wasn't until I was leaving piper classroom at 10:00am that it occurred to me!
"Uh no, I haven't taken any photos today... Gah"
Let's begin photos now.

Hot coffee
Oreo cheesecake.
Sleeping daughter.

There are clean freaks in my family. But that gene has carried into some who now carry the messy gene.
Those people like to call is dis-organisational skills.
So the spic -and - span people like to re-organise some of those dis-organisational things.
I for one, can function a lot better during the day if I can see the lounge floor.
Operation clean up from this morning- before-school-madness complete.

Sleeping daughter
Creative time.

hubby coming from the farm to share lunch with us.
As he goes back,
I enjoy a hot coffee,
Wondering my garden to find a new bloom.
I love winter for my flowers.

Go to hop on the car to collect boys from school!
Car won't start!
Our new car!
Bigger gah!
Battery on the key is starting to go flat!
Brett removes the remote from the key leaves it on the bench!
Grab remote put it back in the car!
Car starts!
New cars and there thingy-Ma-jiggy!
So... I drive like a mad woman around all the schools, looking for said boys on the bus!
Found at the high school!
Mum "how was school?"
Brae "good"
Piper "boring"

Drop Brae at art lessons.
Last week was a feather, week before a monkey, (all done with pastels)
This week a cat.
( which o forget to photograph, because said drama previously)
Youngest two and I,
Put our skates on and do the errands we need to do around town.
Noni runs into this shop and that,
Tries truping old people, then smiles and all is forgiven!

Pick the artist up and head home.
It's a noisey trip.
Arguing over who drew the best.
Piper turtle at school today,
Compared to braes cat (which I forgot to photograph)
Noni trying to sing top note
Mums trying to listen on their conversations.
It provides a lot good entertainment.
Smiles to herself.

Squeeze a quick sight word game.
Never mind he took level 1 when he should be on Level 13
It's all sight words.
Note: more turtle drawings!

Blurry photo. (But moments captured)
All tucked in bed.
Mum puts her feet and catchs up with Brett's day!

Week in the Life - Wednesday

Well, it looks like the fever is subsiding! (Yippee)
The space been seeing the toilet bowl is lengthing.
In just a few days, normal health will be with us all.

Wednesday went like this:

Seeing the sun rise.
Hot coffee
Makes worthwhile on a cool morning to rise and shine.

Children are still sleeping, so I decided to do a little computer work while it was quiet.
I also love the sun beaming through the window.
Makes my heart sing.
make a little start on their lunch boxes.

Piper wakes and straight into breakfast.
I have always cooked a good breakfast. I need protein for my day and I find it also sustains the boys a little at school too.
Sausages, bacon and scrambled eggs on the menu.
The kids sit at the bench while I make a finish off their lunch boxes. We even had time to do sight words too.

Shoes on.
Bags packed.
Quick, dash for the bus.
We spend our childhood wanting to grow up.
"They grow up so fast?"
They become someone,
and we look back and see the path they took.
We hold tight to their childhood because of our experience behind it.
We know they will do incredible things at school.

We spent a little time in the sunshine.
It was good.
It was warm.
We take our health for granted.
The flowers got a much need drink of water.
By this time Noni was hungry for scrambled eggs.

Time for laundry.
It's always there.
What makes it more enjoyable is watching these two care on.
Under my feet,
yes I trip,
stand on smokey tail (accidentally) and every now and then some little toes,
With the odd peg tgat falls and instantly becomes food.
But they still play.

Time to sit.
Favourite chair.
Deep breaths
 just watching Noni play.
When Noni was born I made a little vow to myself that I would find time during each day to simply watch her play and watch her grow.
It fills me with such profound hope watching her grow.
I knows not these young years that are precious, but her entire life.
I know I'd like her to move forward slowly,
grow slowly,
I know I also have a responsibility to make sure she grows surely and steadfast.

I make a start on my two project life cards. One from yesterday and today's.
Still on track for #the100dayproject.
I am still at it.

Hubby a keeper.
I am spoilt.
He came in this morning after an early start.
he mind Noni, which involved get sleeping.
But he still cared for her.
while I went an help in Brae classroom.
Followed up with some grocery shopping and collecting mail.
Noni got a belated birthday present!
What's a girl to do with new shoes!
Following her mothers heart and passion for shoes.

Executive decision.
make an Oreo cheesecake.
Tastes great,
bad for the hips, but that's ok.
Enjoyed a coffee while Noni sleeps before the boys get home off the bus.

Motherhood's mundane tasks continue.
Folding washing.
Why must it be boring.
Fashion changes.
Like or dislike
We think we look great, in fashion.
20 years time,
Look back -" what was I think wearing that leopard print shirt"
For that reason I wanted to remember what was liked.
Noni, massive size wardrobe for a one year old.
Why do kids dress better than us?

Normally we would head out on Wednesday night.
But alas,
The dre-aded virus wouldn't allow us.
So here we are going through our nightly grind.
Story is accompanied by teethbrushing, to stop minimal talking and more listening.
Mix matchy jamas are must!
"They help you sleep better you know... "
From the lips of babes.

"Good night, don't let the bed bugs bite!"

Good night. Xo
