I hope you've all had a lovely Christmas! Wanted to share with you a little of my Documented December album today. I love using this like a little daily project life album. If your thinking of project life for 2018, this is truly a great starting point. Start with a 8.5 x 6 album, keep it small and simply and its a achievable. I want to show you some very simply pages at the start of my documented December. I simply cut the exclusive paper into the squares and then added a few embellishments. I spend no more each day than 30 mins on this daily. So if you do a 2018 project life album, spend 30 mins a week and you will have it documented. What a beautiful album to look back on.

Hello. Felicity with you here today with another festive creation using the Hip kit November and documented December kits. Spending 30 minutes a day in my album is so rewarding, because this time of the year, they can be so much busyness and so many memories and traditions, that sometimes the little things that make this time of the year 'magical' get forgotten. I love having all my supplies handy and digging through finding so much empheria from the kits to record the moment. From sticker sheets, the exclusive puffy stickers to chipboard frames.
Not to mention the exclusive papers too. (as I cut up in the 2 x 2 inch squares).
Make sure you watch my process video at the end to see how fun and easy these pages in my documented December come together.

I hope your all starting to document your December this year and if not, I hope I inspire you to do so today. I think this is my 4th year in a row of documenting December this year. I love spending just 30 mins - generally at the end of the day - and documenting the day or what happened. Its not necessarily Christmas related because end of school year for the kiddos and then often we pop away just before Christmas and I have no technology those days. Its so good to just switch off and recharge physically and mentally.
In my documented December, using the Hip Kit November kits I always do a mixture of layouts and project life style pages along with lots of memorabilia, anything from the kiddos drawings to wrapping.
Today I created a double page layout in my album using the Crate paper Snow and cocoa products in the kit.
In Australia is not a winter, its super hot and sunny, but it didnt stop me from using the snow flakes as a feature in the background with some stitching.
Then I used the series of frames to highlight a series of photos on my daughter 'goofing' around with her Santa hat.
The key to documented December is keep it simply and allow yourself that 'time out' daily to complete just a little in the album.
Happy documented December

Hello lovely creativity people, I;m here with a layout for the sketch using the gorgeous November kit from Hip kits. Yes, if you look closely I followed the sketch!! tee hee. I started off my flipping the sketch side ways. Because there were so many beautiful elements in the papers, I couldn't help but fussy cut out a lot of the labels, presents, trees and houses. The to keep the elements on the left of the photo (the rectangle frames of the sketch), I machine stitched underneath before embellishing. It added a lot more depth and texture.
Here is the process video for you.

There is also something dramatic about black and white photos isn't there. I love documenting photos of my little girl on a daily basis because somethings cant be sent or felt in words uh!
That is the beauty of project life isnt it. The photos and sentiments do the talking.
I really love the big chipboard words in the embellishment kit, that I decided to use it on its own in teh 4 x 6 sleeve and then I embellished on the plastic with the puffy stickers. It adds some nice demision to the project life page.
With project life its not always about the photos, but the journaling too. Thats what I wanted to do was doucment those things that photos cant tell the story in.
Layering and clustering embellishments is another great way to tell your story. Not to mention mixing up the alphas too! How cute are those gold dipped wooden alphas.
Tip:Also dont forget to document the age of the photos.
I hope these projects inspire you today to be creativity and document those memories for years to come!
